His prime experience as a career educator and former primary school head of history has shaped him to support a network of teachers and administrators across the UK. Leading with a people-centred approach, Eric sets an atmosphere that equips and encourages participants to navigate matters paramount to the vitality of young people. He boldly pursues solutions to social challenges while empowering youth from all walks of life to build confidence from within. A regarded thought leader, Eric adds to community conversations exploring civic innovation, racial equity, coming-of-age matters, and experiences in education for brilliant Black minds. He is celebrated for his latest accomplishments as a five-time award winner recognised by Reach Society as a National Role Model, and his multi-year appointment as a judge for the UK Black Talent Awards.
Closing in on 15 years of experience in the field of education, Eric holds a postgraduate certificate in Racial Equity Law and Community Leadership from SOAS University of London, a postgraduate certificate in Education in Citizenship Secondary from London Metropolitan University, and an LL.B Law degree from the University of Essex.
Eric proudly honours his first commitment as a father to an amazing son. He prioritises joy and recreation with his passion for wellness. He is an avid runner, who enjoys community and the outdoors, having recently achieved a great feat by completing the London Marathon in 2023.
